Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 3, 2026. These Terms govern participation in the Maple Research Labs (MRL) US affiliate program. By applying, accepting a referral link or coupon, or promoting MRL, you (the Affiliate) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not participate. This is a program agreement, not legal advice to you; have your own counsel review it. Affiliates are responsible for their own legal and tax obligations. MRL should have legal counsel review these Terms before publishing.
1. Research-only nature of the products
MRL products are sold strictly for laboratory and research use. They are not for human consumption and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. You acknowledge and accept this, and all of your promotional activity must be consistent with it. You are promoting a research-supply brand, not a consumer health product.
2. Prohibited claims and content (load-bearing)
You may not, in any content, channel, message, or conversation connected to your promotion of MRL: state or imply that MRL products are for human consumption, ingestion, injection, or any in-body use; provide dosing, administration, protocol, stacking, cycling, or reconstitution-for-use instructions; make therapeutic, medical, disease, weight-loss, muscle-gain, anti-aging, or body-composition claims; post before/after photos, personal-use testimonials, or results attributed to using the products; claim purity, potency, or safety beyond what the batch Certificate of Analysis states; market to anyone under 21 or reference minor use; represent yourself as MRL, an MRL employee, or as speaking officially for MRL; or use fear, urgency, or health-scare tactics or guarantee outcomes. If your usual content is built on human-use messaging, keep MRL promotion separate and research-framed. Human-use discussion is your own content and your own risk, and it must never present MRL products as intended for human use.
3. Required disclosure
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your material connection to MRL wherever you promote us, consistent with the U.S. FTC Endorsement Guides. Use plain language such as “Affiliate. I earn a commission on purchases through my link or code.” The disclosure must be visible before the link or code, not buried in a description, hashtag block, or separate page.
4. Anti-spam and channel rules
Comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. Email only people who have consented or with whom you have a valid existing relationship, always identify yourself, and provide a working unsubscribe. No unsolicited bulk messaging, no purchased lists, no deceptive subject lines or headers. No automated DM, follow, or posting bots. Do not bid on MRL trademarks in paid search, and do not run paid ads for MRL on Google, Meta, or TikTok; those platforms prohibit this category and it endangers the whole program.
5. Commissions
Commission is tiered on your referred sales in the current calendar year (store currency, USD): up to $10,000 in referred sales, 15%; $10,000.01 to $40,000, 20%; $40,001 and above, 25%. Your tier is based on your referred sales since January 1 of the current year and applies to new orders as that total grows. Tiers reset to the base rate each January 1. Attribution is by your unique referral link (cookie window 30 days) and by your unique discount code. Commission is calculated on product subtotal, excluding shipping, taxes, and discounts. Self-referrals, purchases on your own account, and fraudulent or incentivized-fake orders do not earn commission and are grounds for termination.
6. Payouts
Commissions accrue as pending and are approved after the order clears any refund or chargeback window. Minimum payout threshold and schedule are set by MRL and communicated at onboarding. Payouts are made in USD to the payment email on your affiliate account. You are responsible for your own taxes; MRL may request tax information (such as a W-9) where required. Refunded, charged-back, or fraudulent orders reverse the associated commission.
7. Term, termination, and takedown
Either party may end this relationship at any time, for any reason. MRL may suspend or terminate you immediately and withhold unpaid commissions for any violation of these Terms, especially the Section 2 claim rules or any conduct that creates legal or platform risk. On termination or on MRL’s written request, you must promptly remove MRL content, links, and codes. Sections on prohibited claims, indemnification, and limitation of liability survive termination.
8. Compliance, indemnity, and liability
You are solely responsible for your content and for complying with all applicable laws, platform rules, and advertising standards in your jurisdiction and your audience’s. You will indemnify and hold MRL harmless from claims arising out of your content, your promotional methods, or your breach of these Terms. MRL provides the program “as is,” makes no guarantee of earnings, and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes and governing law
MRL may update these Terms. Continued participation after an update is acceptance of the update. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Acknowledgement
By participating you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, including the research-only positioning in Section 1 and the prohibited claims in Section 2. For questions, contact [email protected].
